RC1 No DCMP ?
Is it just me or the new version of DivX Connected software does not include DCMP.exe, and it told me to unninstall previous version first, and it did not install a new one..So now I'm stuck without a testing tool and I'm hoping this was a mistake not intentional. So...Which one is it?

losing resume info
When playing a movie and stopping the movie, you can resume the movie.
This works when selecting the movie, and pressing [OK], selecting "resume" and pressing [OK].
When pressing the [>] button one the remote you can play the movie aswell, but now it starts at the beginning of the movie. If you do this, the resume information is lost.
volume change UI on Connected Box
Will we see this in the newest server release?

box cannot update
I've been a holiday to greece for 3 weeks. When i came back the box gave a message that there was a new update. when trying to update this fails. As i dont read about any new updates on the forum, i feel that maybe there is something wrong with the box after being powerd down for 3 weeks. What should i do????
Follow up:
After more than a week of trouble (message update failed) for some reason the update now worked.
As i didn't change any settings on both the box and the server, i guess that there most have been a problem with the delivery of the firmware update......(can someone verify?) Alas, i'm updated ;-)

German translation error
Well I've tested the new firmware.
So far the translation seems to be fine. But there is a error right when you start the box.
In english it says "Connecting to Server". In German the box puts out an: "Anschließen an Bediener". Doing a word by word translation it seems ok, BUT the complete sentence would be translate to something like this: "Plug-in at the user". I'm sure some German chicks would find this offensive and sue DivX and the Box because of sexual harassment ;).
So please change to something like "Verbinde mit dem Server". You can use the word "Server". Nothing wrong with that and very common here in Germany.
No other translation related bugs so far to report.

Anyone else get the update notification for the Connected™ device?
The new fonts look great, and there are German and French menus too!
Here's the forum discussion about it:
http://labs.divx.com/node/904
Here's the full list of changes:
1) Localization: The client setup screens have been localized and translated to Deutsch/German and Francais/French. You can choose the language from the top level settings menu in the option ‘Language’ or through the Setup Wizard.
2) Support for Audio over HDMI. The audio in the welcome screen of the setup wizard now plays over HDMI.
3) Support for down mixing 5 channel AC3 Audio to the stereo RCA outputs
4) The LAN and WLAN on the DivX Connected Device light up according to the connection type.
5) A new ‘Connecting to Server’ screen to notify that the connection to server is taking place.
6) A new ‘Searching for Server’ screen to notify that searching for server is taking place.
7) Support for Mute button on the remote control.
8) Support for Volume up/down on the remote control.
9) Support for not having to re-enter the encryption key after the SSID of the router previously connected to has been changed.
10) HDMI issues on Samsung and other TVs have been resolved.
11) Auto EDID is displayed next to the actually display resolution if Auto EDID is selected.
12) Better & more clear fonts
13) Screen does not flicker any more after updating the DivX Connected Device to a newer version.
14) Entering an invalid WEP key now displays the same error message as entering any other invalid encryption key types.
15) High Color overlay support. This will be evident when the new server update is released.
16) DRM support- DivX VOD activation is now available.

Deleting content
I have tried to delete files from within the directories, which i did just fine however the server software refuses to see that these files have been deleted and is still showing them i`ve tried to rescan the folders with no luck the only way i was able to get it to see what had been deleted is to reinstall the server software

Wireless vs. Remote ?!?
Hi everybody,
I've took the box to another friend of mine and everything worked fine so far (He doesn't have the bugs I already posted).
But it seems that the Wireless Part of the DivX Connected Box somehow disturbs the Remote Control of his DVB-S Receiver.
Changing the Satellite-channels with the remote is quite stressful (Push the button multiple times to get it to change the channel).
It only happens with the DVB-S Satellite Receiver (And his remote). The TV- and DVD-Player (And their remotes) work superb.
If you turn off the DivX Connected Box it works fine again.
Very strange, and now I'm thinking of the possible dangerous effects of the DivX Connected Wireless (Radioactive ;) ) rays on humans...hm, maybe that's the cause for the nasty rash on my back ;) LOL.
Seriously, maybe you should check the wireless of the future boxes.
