A small update for a big OS. This version of DivX Player for Mac will ensure compatibility with Leopard. Thanks to LordRPI we are able to release this update one week after the grand update for Mac lovers.

A lot comes with the transition from PowerPC to Intel and this can be harder for some apps than others. Due to the upgrades, psychological evaluations and various other”complexities” (PowerPCs are from Venus and Intels are from Mars), this process took a little too long for admirers and dissidents alike. For DivX, the time has finally come to unveil from under the shroud of an XCoder’s will, the new(ish) svelte Player for Mac: leaner, meaner, and a whole lot more on the inside. As well as being Universal Binary, DivX Player 2.0 is fully translated into French, German and Japanese and supports playback of DivX VOD movies.
