Even if your phone isn't officially DivX Certified, you may still be able to watch DivX® videos by downloading and installing the DivX Mobile Player. Find out below if your phone supports the DivX Mobile Player and follow the link to download according to your phone’s operating system.

DivX Mobile Player 1.01 is beta software available for a limited time only and will expire at the end of 2012. We hope you will consider buying a DivX-certified device the next time you are shopping for a new phone. They have DivX playback with hardware acceleration built in!

If you are reading this page from your mobile phone, try using the Mobile website instead. Many mobile phones are unable to download the files directly from this page. They seem to consistently stall after 95%.

Choose the version that matches your phone:

If you're not sure what operating system your phone uses, refer to your owner's manual or try the manufacturer's website. Please note that you DO NOT have to install the DivX Mobile Player if your phone is a DivX Certified device.

Installing on Symbian using PC Suite

  • Download the installer that matches your phone’s operating system
  • Open the SIS or SISX file using PC Suite and follow the instructions to complete the installation

Samsung Omnia Activation Patch

Hello please use the link below to access the patch for the Samsung Omnia. The file is named "Omnia_Patch.cab".

This patch will allow you to activate the VOD (video-on-demand) functionality of your phone. Even without installing this patch, you can still play DivX files using the phones native browser by either launching the media player or selecting the file you want to play from you file library.

Instructions:

To use the patch the Omnia the user must:

1. Copy the .cab file onto the phone internal memory through ActiveSync.
(Alternatively, copy the file onto a microSD card and install into phone.)
2. Open File Explorer and locate the .cab file.
3. Open the .cab file and patch update will complete.
