Construction Worker Welcome to Tools on DivX Labs. Most of the tools in this section are contributions from members of the DivX Community. This section is intended to offer its users a wide range of useful video related applications, help everyone learn more about video or simply serve as a place of consolidated information. As most of these tools come from collaboration between users of the DivX community, you may find some new friends here as well.

  • DivX Menu Creator WebApp!
    • The name says it all. This java applet serves as a powerful menu tool. The user interface is easy to learn and offers a large degree of freedom for customization. This tool is based on Java, please make sure you have the current version of Java installed on your machine.

    • This is an advanced tool to build menus and use the advanced features of the DivX Media Format. Check out this short guide to see how it works. Thank you UserXP for developing this great tool.
  • DivX Web Player Code Generator
    • Thank you Langecornu for this updated. The DivX Web Code Generator allows you to create a small piece of code that can be inserted into your website to display and playback DivX videos. At this time Myspace.com has stopped supporting The DivX Web Player.

  • Bitrate Calculator

  • Subtitle Workshop
    • This is a good application for creating, editing and converting subtitles. Video and subtitles can be viewed together to achieve just the the perfect fit.

  • Sub2DivX
    • This tool allows you to add up to 8 .srt or .idx/sub subtitles to an avi file and create a new .divx file containing these subtitles.

  • SRT2bmp
    • Using SRT2bmp allows you to convert .srt subtitles into XSUB™ to include them into a DivX video file.
  • DivXMuxGUI
    • Is the perfect tool to correct asynchronous audio and video. You can use this tool to add different audio tracks or subtitle tracks to a video file. Audio tracks may also be of different formats, for example you can add one mp3 and ac3 track.
