Just Between Us – DivX Connected Plug-ins Spectacular

Your privacy is very important to us here at Labs.DivX.com. We don't collect a lot of personally identifiable data about you, and what we do collect is used only for our internal purposes. We will not share any of your personal information with third parties unless we explicitly ask your permission to share it at the time you give us the information. All of your information is kept strictly confidential.

You should read it, because it talks about how we use personal information generally, and we’ll adhere to its general standards for the DivX Connected™ Plug-ins Spectacular (though some of it clearly doesn’t apply to the DivX Connected Plug-ins Spectacular).

When you enter the Plug-ins Spectacular, you fill out an Entry Form. On that form we ask for some personal information about you, including your e-mail address and date of birth. That’s the primary way for us to communicate with you about the Plug-ins Spectacular and make sure that you are 18 years or older (and hey, we may even send you a birthday card at some point). We won’t use the information on your Entry Form for any purpose other than to administer the Plug-ins Spectacular, unless you give us separate permission to do so. If you win a prize, we may ask you to fill out a few more forms. These may ask for additional information about you.

Keep in mind that the Rules, Terms & Conditions of the Plug-ins Spectacular give us permission to use some of that information in certain ways if you’re a finalist or a prize winner. Such uses won’t violate this Privacy Policy. But we’ll always try to tell you how any such information’s generally going to be used.
