Deactivate auto update in webplayer

Hi @ all,

I used the DivX Webplayer to create a little and easy to use media center for my parents...

It works fine but I got one problem. Since there is no version for Linux (please change this!) I'd used to search a windows CD and I'd found one but it is a windows 2000 CD.

I installed DivX Webplayer 1.4.2 Beta 2 and it works fine. The only problem is: It's not the current version. I tried to update but DivX 7 is not available for windows 2000.

And I can't explain why but there is no automatic update option to disable I only can set it to one check a month.

And therefore I get every month a update notification of an update which I'm unable to install :(

Is there any way to solve this? A solution using the Javascript API is also possible because it's a local single system program (my media center)...
