DivX 7 for Windows Converter stops at 50%!!
I just downloaded DivX 7 for Windows & now the Converter stops at 50%. I've even tested movies I've previously converted & ot still stops at 50%.
I didn't have this issue with the previous version of DivX Converter. Can anyone help?

What version of Converter did you used to use? What kind of files are you trying to convert, and what output profile are you targeting?
Have you checked out DivX Support? You can open a support ticket there.
Not sure of the version but i only updated about 6 months ago. The file types are .avi & I've even tried m,ovies that I converted previously & they come up with the same error.
I've tried support but can't get through the registration screen, everything I enter brings me back to a blank registration screen...everything was fine until I updated to version 7 for windows...
You updated 6 months ago to DivX 7? Have you tried reinstalling the latest release of DivX 7? It includes a new version of Converter 7.1 that was released last month.
What build of Windows 7 are you using (you can find it in the bottom right corner of the desktop)? While Converter 7.1 does seem to work for me on Windows 7 RC1 (build 7100) it hasn't been tested on it, and Windows 7 is obviously not an officially supported OS yet.
What browser are you using to access DivX Support? Does clicking "next" on this page not work for you to submit a support ticket?
Thanks peskypescado,
I've just re-installed the original version that I bought (which was DivX Pro 7 for windows) & all is back & working.
Sorry for wasting your time, but thank you for helping me out.
Kind regards
