From what I see, it appears to me that the Divx just licenses their software to other vendors to use in theri hardware and that is what The Divx Connector is about.
It is supposed to be the answer for playing web based streaming Divx video, but I cannot make out what that is about.
There are many products that do similar things. A PC on a network should do all of this as well, I think youo might need something like Nero or a 1,000 other products.
I do not understand what it is about.

Gej i know that its just OEM, and i didn't complain to divx. The Price is just to high in the current State.
We have no control whatsoever over the final pricing of the product, this is all in the hands of the OEM. We are creating the technology and license it to the OEM that create product around it.
There is a little more than just a Full HD decoder, there is also a wireless card, a wired network chip, a HDMI encoder, some audio chips, some video digital to analog converter and a bunch of other random crap. This device is pretty much full featured compared to a lot of the competition. But again pricing is not ultimately in our control.
Now look at the bright side: you just save 130 pounds ! Not bad at all !
wtf... The Price is ridicules.. I mean.. The Device just has a mpeg decoder chip in it, and some connectors..
It should be priced under 100Euro if you think about it, that the PC is doing all the work, and not the device itself..
