Dear board.

Despite the fact that 2.0.1. b4 does not work with DivX codec 6.7+ is no matter with this post. I'm sure this will get fixed later on.

My consern is the Crop functionality in this tool.
At the current moment:
When opening a VOB that has 2.35:1 Aspect ratio, it is natual to use AutoCrop so that the black border will be removed and the DivX's resolution is then set to (eg) 720x304. The resolution has be be 16 modulous ofcourse but this is done quite wrongly at the moment.
The borders are cut BUT the remaining picture is then pulld (resized) so the the are NO black borders what so ever and this distorts the the Real Aspet ratio. With 720x304 the AS is 2.36:1, not 2.35:1 which would be the right one.

In order to get the correct AS there must be an option wheater to fill the Croped screen to full or to leave very slight black borders (about few pixels tall on top and on bottom, picture is centered).

I hope you understand what I mean.

Turn off Auto Crop

Try turning off Auto Crop and then manually adjust the cropping to 2.36:1.

I wouldn't recommend leaving any borders on your videos. It steals a lot of your available bitrate to encode a thin black line at the bottom of every frame. You'll get better quality and smaller file sizes if you eliminate all borders completely.
