Problems with HTC touch 6900 sprint
Touch screen did not work, also not able to close program unable to access windows after running divx. the only way to access windows platform was by shutting down phone . thanks for your time
Version 0.92 of DivX Mobile Player should not expire until 2010. However, if your clock was set incorrectly when you installed the player, it may miscalculate the date. Unfortunately this is a difficult problem to correct. You would have to perform a hard-reset, set the date correctly, then re-install the player.
When you tap and drag along the top, does the seek bar appear?
=> Yes i can go to the end of the movie
When you tap and drag along the right side, does the volume bar appear?
=> Yes i can up or down sound
A double tap will exit full screen mode.
=> No for me. I need launch and stop HTC Cube 3D interface to have windows bar on the top and then close the player.
Not able to press touch Menu or Option/Play of the divx program with my movies or movies offer with the player but i can access movies list and launch it with the pad
Maybe we have different firmware versions? I'll check the version on the Touch and post it on Monday.
While the Touch does not have softkeys, you should be able to tap the screen on the Menu button (for example).
It sounds like at the very least, we should change DMP to recognize the red and/or green keys to exit the player.

Same problem with an HTC Touch P3450
Not able to close program (which is in full screen !!) or access windows after runnig divx !
Not able to press touch Menu or Option of divx program !

Same problem with HTC Touch Diamond as well. Anyone tried installing it on Touch Diamond?
I've seen similar complaints about the rx1950, Axim and HTC 6900. I haven't tested those, but I do have a P3450 and I have no trouble using the touch display with DivX Mobile Player. A double tap will exit full screen mode.

A friend of mine has the HTC touch (sprint) as well. We tried downloading the standard pack and it didnt work, the screen froze etc and wouldnt allow you to return to the main menu. He then downloaded the Professional version and it allowed him to close the application, seek forward and backward. Check it out and see if it works....
my phone says a new version of divx is avilable but am not ablle to find any new player ......what to do....?
