Crash on Pause or Fast Forward

Hi,
Currently on Firmware 1.1.3.4
Server 1.5.1 Build 20.
PC is currently on XP.
Connection is Wireless.
But up through every version of the firmware and the server we get the same problem...
Playing AFTER fast forwarding/rewinding(always) or pausing(sometimes) causes the server to hang.
This happens in two steps:
1) The sound will come back on with a frozen screen, for about 10 seconds.
2) Server Dies.
This only happens if we play it through the device, fast forwarding and pausing at the PC works fine.
Anyone seen this before?
From another thread back in 2008... looks like it might be related to the file format.
We usually use xvid and just tried divx instead and it was able to do all the expected stuff no problem.
That will stop us from throwing it out the window for now, however recoding all the old files isn't really an acceptable solution, so any further info appreciated.
