DivX 7 Plus HD compatible iomega screenplay plus hd ?

Hi a newbie here. Was consider4ing upda5ting to DivX 7 Plus HD converter but my iomega screenplay plus hd seems to be lacking in accepting hd formats. Any workarounds? I like divx and the iomega media player but how can I marry them so to speak?
