Video playback

can the divx mobile play any other type of video file thats not converted by using divx converter, im trying to convert files and they all say error 4, and thats with all my vids (mp4) it seems to play my avi almost good, but teres eventually frame jumping, and the audio goes out of sync, bu tmy big concern is the converter finishin just to tell me there was a problem, and i cant install the Dr. one, it says that it will damage my system if i try to install it. any help?
By the way, im using a htc mogul WM6.
