when I do connect a divx file in mkv HD video is good but sound strange noises in the background created

I have installed divx 7 etc etc.

ah I forgot

I save my files mkv on a external usb hdd

is possible that there is a slowdown due to the loading and indexing of the files?

I use windows media center and everything is fine.
