Can I play music from my PC through the DivX Connected device?

Yes. You can play MP3 and unprotected WMA files and play lists.
You may even be able to add additional file format support. Check out this link:

PLEASE, lets hope that Divx Connected will remove this extreme limitations on the audio support.
PLEASE let it have decoders for the superior sounding , license free, open source codecs like Ogg, FLAC and APE.
AC3 would be nice as well, but having audio only supporting the DRM codecs is way too limiting. We need more flexibility (Like the Cowon portable media players) and all of the PC audio players and have decoders like Oog, FLAC and APE.
These are license free codecs, so I don't see why it would be any difficulty to add.
These audio codecs also can be used when I use VirtualDub and Divx 6.8 to encode videos.
