I have just installed the software and then setup with my TV.

When I switched on the machine (DSM 330) the following message appears

"Firmware corrupted, recovering, press Power to skip...
Connecting to wired network
Ensure that a connected server is on the network"

Even after waiting 15mins it still hadnt moved from this message. The network should be fine as this pc im writing this message from is wired upto the same router.

What can i do to solve this issue?

Thanks

Hi, The problem is that it

Hi,

The problem is that it stays on the message,

"Firmware corrupted, recovering, press Power to skip...
Connecting to wired network
Ensure that a connected server is on the network"

and doesnt seem to connect. Its connected to a router - am currently looking through my router settings and it doesnt detect the player.

My pc is running the DivxConnected server and doesnt find any devices.

It means the firmware on

It means the firmware on your box is corrupt. Although that should not be the case, it can be corrected with the fail-safe that is built into the box. You just need to make sure you are running the DivX Connected Server on your PC and that your connected box is connected to the same network as that PC. The upgrade should take about 15 minutes.

Please let me know if that doesn't work.
