Conflict Connected-Server with Logitech SetPoint
Hi,
I have the problem, that the connected-server didn't start (the divxconnected.exe, the divxconnectedservice is running), if the logitech SetPoint-software is running. If I stop the SetPoint-process, I can start the server.
I already updated both, SetPoint and Divx Connected, to the current version, without any change.
Anyone have an idea?
Thanks for helping

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Our engineers are looking into it now.

I too have noticed that the latest DIVX Connected server software will not start if Setpoint is running. The two programmes will co-exist but the server software will not start if Setpoint is running.
I have used Delayed Start software from Quantum Rift Software to delay the startup of Setpoint allowing DIVX Connected server to load first.
An annoying trait but I trust this will be fixed in future updates. Incidentally the original 1.00 software did not demonstrate this bug.
There is now an update that should fix this problem as well as a few others:
- Changes for playback problems caused by Stage6 web service changes
- Fix for Logitech SetPoint compatibility problem
- Fix for Black screen issue on certain cards such as NiVidia Quadro NVIDIA Quadro4 900 XGL
You can get it here.

If you are currently using a production version of the software, installing this beta version will result in future beta updates being issued as auto-updates as well. If want to wait a few more days, the production auto update should go out early next week.
This version is planned to be pushed as an auto update to all beta users on Friday Dec 14th.

Excellent!!
Works a treat. What a great system - we ask and you deliver.
Many thanks
