After downloading the DivXPlayer.sisx file for my N95 8GB (having Symbian S60 3rd Gen) whenever i am trying to install the application, it throws an error stating, "certificate error, contact the supplier."! Please help!

Certificate error

Similar problem here. Divx got installed allright BUT... it stopped me other applications from functioning. I unistalled both Divx and the other application, when I try to re-install the other application delivers a "certificate error". divx however re-installs fine.
My device manager is set to "allow all" anyway.

Which version?

DivX Mobile Player version 0.90 is digitally signed specifically to avoid any certificate warnings during installation. Are you using version 0.90 or something earlier? Which phone do you have? Is anybody else seeing certificate errors?

You can

You can also use SISWare to see the exact validity period of a certificate or just resign it with your own certificate.

Certificate error

If you have tried to install DivX mobile on you Nokia and you get a Certificate error.

This is how you solve the problem.

Go to "Settings" > "App. mgr" (scroll down to find it)

select "Option" > "Configuration". Change "Software installation" from "Signed only" to "All"

Now go ahead and install our software.

This should do the trick! Relax and enjoy!

What's going on??

Btw my application manager "allows all".
