Intermittent download issues with DivX Connected
So been using this unit for a few days and i have to say.. I am still excited by it even now..
Trying out the stage6 service and looking at some nice HD content and SD alos.. but.. downloading stuff at the moment is very start and stop.. hopefully there is a fix coming or maybe I ain't doing something right?
I click Download instead of Play cos I know the HD stuff won't stream very well with my 2 mb conection.. It should be 8mb with Orange but I get about 6mb on tests.. Anyway.. I see stuff downloading at a consistent 512kb and above.. but all of a sudden the downloading will stop and the only way to resume the transfer is to Stop Download the click Download again.. this seems to resume the transfer and eventually after a few starts and stops It gets downloaded. and I can watch coral reefs in all ther HD glory ..Nice....
Is it something to do with the download packets? maybe it finnishes one packet /.part and cannot resume the other..
Any light on the matter would be lovely .. cheers ta.

Hi installed 102 build 3 and it has solved the problem with Plug ins. Thank you for your help. Paul
1.0.1.x or later is needed with the plug-ins. They do install very fast, since they are usually small. They go into the following directory:
C:\Program Files\DivX\DivX Connected\Bin\DivX Connected\framework\plugins
If you installed Connected using the defaults.

I'm running 1.0.2 ver 3 and I can't view stage6 movies. I've logged a support call for this.

Can you play from Stage6 on your PC?
I am also using 1.0.2 build 3
Stage6 had to make some chages to their service to prevent unauthorized leaching of other videos.
There is now a beta update that should fix this problem as well as a few others:
- Changes for playback problems caused by Stage6 web service changes
- Fix for Logitech SetPoint compatibility problem
- Fix for Black screen issue on certain cards such as NiVidia Quadro NVIDIA Quadro4 900 XGL

If you are currently using a production version of the software, installing this beta version will result in future beta updates being issued as auto-updates as well. If want to wait a few more days, the production auto update should go out early next week.
This version is planned to be pushed as an auto update to all beta users on Friday Dec 14th.
Hi I have just got connected. Great piece of kit. As regards Plug ins! I have downloaded them, installed and cannot get them on the TV. Have pressed Home to refresh, logged on and off. Rebooted etc etc and nothing displayed. The pc install only takes a matter of seconds. Should I have a Plug in section on the PC to verify where and if installed.
