Windows 7 and Connected Server?
Anyone had any luck? I am running Windows 7 x64 RTM and my Connected box does not detect my server. Running wired. Same setup works under dual booted Vista. I also tried compatibility mode, no go.
Ideas?
Weird. I tried it again today and it worked..the firewall was disabled since day 1..anyway, thanks guys.
Using 1.5.1 Build: 20.
I`m running Windows 7 x64 RTM and it runs perfectly i`ve not had one issue with it, i`m using server version 1.5.0 build 75 as newer build crashes whilst addding MKV files (note this happens in XP/Vista/7) have you tried giving divxconnected permission in windows 7 firewall??
Hit Start and type firewall then click enter..click inbound rules and check Divx connected is set to yes, if not right click and click enable if it does not show up in the firewall click new rule top right and follow on screen insructions
Hope that helps if not mail me

Well, on my box with Windows 7 RC (32 bit) everything is working properly. But you have to reconfigure your firewall settings. Try to disable firewall for local connections.
Crucial Question, is or will there be Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit) support for the Connected Server????

I just upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. All was working fine on Vista but now I cannot connect to the server. I tried running a direct ethernet connection from my pc to the DSM and it worked, so this tells me it is a network issue (the DSM cannot communicate through the router). I tried all the regular tricks:
- disabled firewall
- disabled anti virus
- upgraded firmware for router
- run Connected in compatability mode
- made sure all Windows network sharing options were on
- tried a different router (linksys and dlink)
I just don't know what else I could try to have the two devices communicate through the network.
Please help!
