Hi DivX Developement Team
is the DivX Webplayer Planned for October 2009 ?
Dear Sascha
I am thrilled that the Divx Web Player development has been picked up and is moving forward.
I have complained about how things stopped.
I'll be anxious to see the Pseudo Streaming like Adobe Flash Player !!
Keep it up.
Jon

We are working on releasing an update that will allow DivX Plus files (H.264,AAC,MKV) in the future. In fact, will be demoing a prototype version of this at IFA next week, and possibly have a beta release here on Labs in the near future. Stay tuned (and patient) and we'll let you know here!
portitron I am loving the new beta 2 DivX Web Player. There are 3 things that perhaps count as a bug.
1) While the video is playing, scrolling the browser bar up-down would constantly flicker or jitter the video stream.
2) Click anywhere off video screen causes the video to jitter. The video would pause for half a second or one full second and then continues.
3) The "no save" by file naming scheme only works when the video is not already in the cache. This means the first time you load the video, it worked perfectly. You are not allowed to save the video. The next time you view that same video when it's already in the cache, it save option is available.
