about audio on divx mobile player
Hi,
i have a question, i have a Nokia 5700 and i wonder what divx mobile player and my phone is capable of playing. will it work if i choose the encodeing presets to insane with bidirectional: adaptive single consecutive?
also with quatization on H.263 optimized?
amd how many key frames should i use?
is noise reduction good or bad? and is psychovisual enhencements good or bad? which option should be selected?
is the phone and divx mobile capable of playing both ABR and CBR mp3? or only CBR?
and which audio sampling rate is the phone and divx mobile player capable of playing? for example 44,100kHz can it play that?
also which resize filter should i use?

There should be no problem with 48000 khz sampling. If the sound is choppy, try a lower video bitrate.
If the Nokia 5700 is a Symbian phone, then try the S60 3rd edition. I don't know if the 5700 uses Symbian OS.
DMP supports ABR and CBR audio. Technically ABR compresses better than CBR although some tools don't work well with ABR so I usually stick with CBR for editing purposes. Sampling at 44.1 kHz will work fine.
I also use "Insane" with "adaptive single consecutive" and "H.263 optimized". I keep the key frames at 300 although I haven't experimented much with that parameter. I almost always use "auto" noise reduction though it depends on the clip. Likewise, I use "Shaping Psychovisual Enhencement" but sometimes use "Masking" depending on the content.
thanks for your reply. the nokia 5700 uses symbian s60 3rd 9.2. it has a 369mhz processor useing the nokia arm 11. i already have Divx mobile player on my phone.
also does the phone and divx mobile player support 48,000khz sampling rate or only 44,100khz?
I use Dr.divx and i have bought the latest divx 6.8 pro codec. i have heard insane isn't a good option since it takes to much time and he eyes won't notice the diffrence anyway.
which rezise filter should i use?
also should i use 1 pass,2pass or 2pass(fast 1st pass)?
also is it good to have a high or low sampling rate?

Hi i tried ABR audio at 128 and it didn't work the sound get's choppy. i also have a question does the phone support sampling rate at 48 000 khz?
