HTC - FUZE- P4600 - opening files

Here are my phone stats:

version software: Windows Mobile 6 Professional - DivXPlayer_PPC.CAB

Phone: HTC - FUZE - P4600

OS: windows mobile 6.1 professional

cpu: qualcomm 7201A

speed: 528 mhz

ram: 288 MB

display resolution: 480 x 640

I have downloaded and installed the divx mobile app without any problems on the phone. The two buttons (play and menu) on the bottom of the opening screen are a pain to access, because the only way to access them is using the touch screen(I actually have to press firmly about a millimeter under the actual software button to activate the menu or play button) . This version pda phone does not have the typical button setup as other pda phones. So there isn't any correlating buttons on the hardware phone that match the software buttons on the screen. If anyone has a solution to this small problem, please do tell. But my main problem is not that.

As it stands now, I only see the 2 demo videos as selectable in the video window. They both work like a charm and the monkeys and boing sounds are cool. But I cannot open any other videos. I have some stored on my memory card. I could not find an option in the menu to point to a file stored elsewhere. The help menu only states to use the integrated file explorer to open files and to be sure to re-scan the system when you upload new videos. Here is what the divx faq states on opening files in your phone:

How do I find my videos once they're on my phone?
If you have a DivX Certified phone, refer to the user manual. If you're using DivX Mobile Player, launch the application to locate your videos.

This does not help me either. Here is what I see in the options menu of the settings menu button:

show thumbnails
display time
display seed bar
time display
default mode
start fullscreen
playback option
language
brightness,contrast,saturation,a/v synch all in the center
device name
username
password

my question:

How can I point the program to a large size video on my memory card? I can't find any file>open feature anywhere. And how do I "re-scan" my system to allow the divx integrated file explorer to see my video files on my memory card? Is there some default folder somewhere in the directory where I have move my video files to?

any help would be cool.

Refresh

In the file browser (where you see the demo videos) there is a refresh option under the menu softkey. It doesn't matter where your videos are stored. DMP will scan both internal and external memory.

Make sure the files you added are DivX videos that have an extension of .avi or .divx.
