Converting .divx files with Menus to MKVs. No Menus?

Hi, novice here.

I am converting DVDs over to divx for home viewing. The player says it supports menus in MKVs, but it does not support menus in divx files. If I use Divx 7 Pro to convert my divx files to MKVs, will the menus be maintained? If not, can Divx Author create those menus and have them available in the MKV.

Basically, I am needing to get to MKVs with a menu in it for some of our DVDs. Most of our DVDs I don't care, but there are some that it would be a tremendous help.
