Question about burning a dvd
I have a .mkv file and it gives me the option to burn it to a dvd disk. do i need to use converter first to change the .mkv to mpeg or something a dvd can read? or will it burn by itself and be able to play on a normal dvd player?

Hey diehardsoxfan91 -
The disc burner in DivX Player is meant to let you easily burn the file that you are watching to play in a DivX certified device. It will not convert the file, it just lets you burn the file as data. You can use DivX converter to convert the file to DivX Home Theater or DivX HD profile if you have a DivX device. When DivX Plus HD devices are available, they will be able to play your .mkv files without converting them. Hope this helps.
