Need any heads-up re: MP4 video files converting or uploading to divx connected. Some of the MP4 files wont load up! Any thoughts?

Re-Mux

Because the latest version of DivX Connected supports real-time transcoding of DivX Plus files, aka MKV, you may want to try re-muxing your MP4 files to .mkv so that the video bitstream is left untouched.

This is really only going to be ideal for videos with H.264 video and AAC audio, but you can find out if your MP4 is a candidate by running mediainfo (http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en/Download).

As for the mux, you can use mkvmergegui (http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/downloads.html), which goes much faster than a complete transcode.

If that doesn't work (choppy playback or no audio support), you can always convert MKV files to .divx with DivX Converter (http://www.divx.com/en/software).

There are hundreds of video

There are hundreds of video converters out there, some online and others you can download for free or some commercial ones. I haven't used one in a while so not sure what the best ones are (and to be honest, never had great results (since ur converting one lossy format to another). One I used in the past was Xilisoft Video Converter.
