not working at all! help

I've bought Divx 7 for mac. Not sure of what it consist of now, since I can't see any quictime component installed in the library.
I was sent to the divx site from apple quictime site, to install a divx component. i decided to buy divx pro 7 since I want to make divx files from my dvds.
I cant watch any divx file trhoug divx player nor through quictime!!!
what can i do?.
PS (I couldn t evenb find the right forum for this, the DIVX PRO FORUM!!!, not player or so).

After you have installed DivX on your Mac, you should be able to watch DivX videos either in the DivX Player or using Quicktime Player.
You said you "can't watch any" but it's not clear what happens when you try to open a video. Do you get an error message? Are you sure the videos you have are actually DivX videos? Did you make them yourself? Have you tried some of the DivX videos available here on labs?
