I made a GUI (WhisX) for Beta 1 ... and I guess I should update it to include the additions for Beta 2 too. So I'll notify myself to do that the coming weekend.
- The DivX H.264 Encoder Beta 2 does not create a Registry entry anymore about where the executable is located. If you updated from Beta 1, this entry may still exist, so WhisX2 may find it if you updated to Beta 2 with the same directory.
- WhisX2 will try to load a default configuration from a *.ini file with the same file name as its own executable. It will look for a section [WhisX2] first, then for a section [WhisX]. So you may copy a previous default configuration and update it by saving and overwriting.
- WhisX2 will not support STDIN source in raw format, and therefore not the manual input dimension option (-y) either.

It Works!
Cool, it works! I used an .AVS for input, created a .264 file, and used MKVmerge to mux in the AAC audio and the final result was a DivX Plus HD file!
