No Audio In Dr. DIVX

No Audio In Dr. DIVX

With the main forum down, I guess I'll have to post this here. I've had this problem with Dr DIVX before but going back to an older Pro codec solved it. But it's back. I get not audio if I try to encode to mp3. I will get audio using AC3 but it's desynchronized about 2 seconds. At other times Dr DIVX will just bog down so the framerate is .3 fps and the elapsed time equals the completion time.
I’m using the newest Dr DIVX and I had tried both the v6.8.5 pro codec and an older one v6.8.4. I’ve read Dr DIVX uses audio filters from other sources and under PREFERENCES > HELP > ABOUT there are some listed including the Roxio mp3 encoder.

Any ideas how to get the Dr up and running?

Also, I noticed in TMPGEnc that there is a DIVX option to encode at the original NTSC resolution of 720x480. All Dr DIVX provides it 640x480. Is there a way to encode at the original resolution?
Thanks!

Not sure if it helps, but

Not sure if it helps, but try installing version 1.11 of AC3Filter. Other versions have revealed bugs with Dr.DivX.

I personally don't use Dr.DivX, but I know that recent builds enable you to use the original rez, but you must enable anamorphic encoding to adjust the Pixel Aspect Ratio, otherwise your 720x480 clip will have distortion.

Darn I missed the Forums and DivX! Good to be back my friends! :-)

I can encode DivX at any

I can encode DivX at any resolution. You just have to learn how to use Dr DivX more effectively.

Your description is a bit confusing. That's probably why no answer yet. Let me make it easier for you. Download DivX 7 from here. Install it. Now download Dr. DivX 2.0. Install that and report your problem again if any.
