interface glitches with snow leopard
Hi there,
the DivX Player has some issues with snow leopard. When started the whole screen goes black and parts of the player interface are visible but do not cover the complete screen area. All interface buttons look grayed out and the menu bar is hidden. Has anyone else experienced this?
By the way, why does the player use different open file dialogs instead of the system dialogs? Mac users expect pretty consistent interfaces, and this is like a letdown.
Thanks anyway for not giving up the mac development. The web player works pretty well. I can't wait for a version compatible with the 64 bit mode of safari.

Yeah, I've noticed this too. The Player does its "auto-dim" on launch which is both annoying and slams the Window Manager.
Disable this by going to Preferences -> Playback and then deselect both : "Fade out window while playing" and "Dim Desktop While Dimming"
