Divx converter program fails when I get to the create DIVX media process. what should i do?

I have a registered divx converter and while I'm converting and when it is already in the process of creating/building media, the programs suddenly fails. I've tried it three times already. it says Divx converter application stopped working. I'm using vista. what should i do?
