Dr Divx 2.0 settings

Dr Divx 2.0 settings

Hi Jive,
I encode files to Divx using Dr Divx 2 but my Mediagate doesn't even recognize them. I need to encode without Qpel and GMC, but can't work out what settings I need to change to eliminate them.

Dr Divx is working just fine and the included plug-ins cover everything I need. Unfortunately there are no errors or screenshots to provide, I just need to know how to set up the good Dr correctly.

Hi Guys,
Upfront apologies for my ignorance. I have been trying to post this in a forum but there are no options in the Forum drop down list.
I have an ALtech Mediagate that does not mind Divx files but refuses to have anything to do with Qpel or GMC encoded files.
I would really like to use Dr Divx 2.0 but I cant seem to get around avoiding those two embuggerances when encoding. Can anyone help with the settings I need.

ps Just using the Home Theatre option does not work.

This might help
First off make sure you do not upgrade to the 6.6 codec. If you already did so, you can go to the following FAQ and download the attachment there, which is the 6.5.1 codec. That should work.

Then you can also look at the Dr. DivX User Guide, which will explain all the tabs and buttons and settings. Click printer friendly version if you would like to print.

Now, if you stick to one of the certification profiles, GMC and Qpel will not be used.
