I tested playing Divx 7 MKV files on Windows 7 using MKV for Windows 7 Technical Preview with both 32-bit and 64-bit PCs with H.264 hardware decoding supported video cards (I even tried both Ultimate and Home Premium as 32-bit and 64-bit versions), and the MKV files play well in Windows Media Player and almost all the time well in Windows Media Center. However, Divx player has problems playing MKV files and doesn't use h.264 decoding hardware support and thus causes the CPU to go on full load. Will this be fixed?
