I am using the Previes for a few weeks now, but really miss the subtitle support on my chinese movies. Is there a release date? Beta?

I've been using a program called mkv2vob to watch subtitled mkvs. It converts the mkv into a dvd-format .vob file. Easy to use and, for me at least, very fast. Maybe... 3 minutes for a 720p 30 minute video.

Until subtitles are supported, the tech preview is worthless to many, many people - including myself. One of the biggest reasons for the mkv push is multi-language files....

I second this motion!

I second this motion! PLEASE let us know some sort of time frame on this. I use avi most of the time. My only real need for mkv is my anime which requires subtitles. Thanks for all your hard work though...this is awesome.

When subtitles are working

When subtitles are working with mkv's im all set :) DTS will come as a bonus for me, i can live with AC3 5.1 :D
Browsing the site several times a day hoping it will say "Subtitles are now supported" :)
