So whatever you did in this upgrade sucks....MAJORLY. I can't watch any divx movies or shows. It is kind of bad that right after an upgrade a huge issue like this appears. Wish it was something small like spelling or off center button. This hopefully has a quick fix since a crap load of people relay on divx for all the multimedia entrainment online.
Could you please post or PM some links to videos you are trying to play that don't work for you?

I checked out icefilms.info and it looks like it might be a problem between DWP and your unique greasemonkey setup.
I know that you can get MegaVideo links to stream with the new Web Player though. I personally have streamed this one.
I'm deh baby cause it seems that no one was informed of the update..just kind of thrown upon everyone. And my cruddy site(s) get more hits in a day then you could even try and get in a year...so how about now you be the one to play nice.
If you run a video site then you can use the windows media player code to run the divx videos instead. I have used it now on my site and the videos stream fine. As long as users have the divx codex installed they should work. If you are able to alter the player then this is a working solution for now. Simple code for this can be seen here:

My site has around 400 divx video trailers that are now offline since this latest update! I can see his point big time. I mean how much testing did divx labs carry out prior to releasing this update?
No one mentioned any specific websites anyway. Ben just said the new player sucks? I'm not trying to be rude, I'm asking other people not to. When I said cruddy I meant Ninja Video, cause maybe that's what Ben used. I hate the Ninja Video. Makes you run their stupid crud too, hence 'cruddy'. If it's the FTP vs HTTP server thing. That's been talked about already, they don't plan to add FTP support.

Many awesome websites do work fine with DivX Plus Web Player, enough cool sites do work. It's not too hard to find new sites... well. I'll help you if you need help. I'm more than updated. I know what does and doesn't work.
Getting mad at the awesome DivX people is dumb. They made it a lot better for us. Kudos to them! Do you realize how childish it is to blow up at them, and leave a bs comment?
Maybe you fix your own problems, then enjoy the much higher quality DivX Plus Web Player, instead of some primitive ape like behavior. I'll help anyone with finding sites that work if you need.

so i was prompted to upgrade to this newest version of Divx and so i did. when i went back to play my video i couldnt...it says connecting and wont buffer anymore...the site that i use is icefilms.info (great site) so if you have any suggestions i await your reply
I am getting really bothered by this update too. Nothing works anymore, the videos (on all websites that use the DIVX webplayer that is) keep trying to connect forever, when I then try to close the Firefox tab the browser crashes. What is wrong with the update?
