Divx 7 Pro Will Not install on windows 7, NTVDM CPU encountered illegal instruction

if i try to continue i get 5 of these messages then nothing. what can i try, i wasnt sure where to post this so plz forgive me

have tried various compatability modes to no avail

also tried numerous redownloads

currently using free version so only the converter and plugin are registered, yes i have bought it

another problem i have is that i did not get the key in my email, it is not in Junk either
