I cant get the player to work. When I launch it and try to play a video it will only play in fast forward or rewind. What am I doing wrong!! Help!!!!

my order date 10/25/2009 customer number 45230103 and the
order number 203496548.
I cant download from my old set it was damaged and i cannot get
