WHEN IS NOKIA N97 GONNA GET DIVX MOBILE SUPPORT
hi there. i have been waiting patiently since the n97 came out and have read on umpteen occasions that divx labs staff would soon have a version of divx mobile for the n97. WHEN WILL IT HAPPEN. there hasn't been any updates to this site for months by any staff regarding this matter and i think that you lot need t get your finger out o yer arses and keep us members properly informed. its about time ye's did something or i reckon you'll lose lots o support for your software!
Trust me, I understand your frustration about lack of touch support for DivX Mobile Player 0.93. However, I don't want to set any expectations about any time frame for a 5th edition player or even if one will ever be available. We simply can't make any commitments.
DivX Mobile Player beta is available for free intentionally for a limited time and intentionally for a limited number of devices. Future versions of DMP may work on a wider variety of devices but it will never reach every device. I'm sorry it doesn't work with your phone. We receive a lot of feedback here on Labs regarding Symbian 9 v5 and it is not ignored. In the meantime, please also write to Nokia and ask them to release a DivX certified phone. I'd also suggest you consider one of the DivX Certified phones currently available from LG or Samsung. Currently there are no 5th edition phones, but there are DivX certified Symbian phones as well as Android and Windows Mobile.
