Ok, i have windows ultimate x64, on a fresh install the windows drivers give me flashing black screen on the dsm-330 home page when browsing content and not just playing video so it cant be a codec issue as i assume that would only affect playing video, i have now formatted my pc twice in the hopes it will fix it.

I have an ATI radeon 1gb DDR3 HD4670 and i have tried catalyst suites 10.2 down to 9.7 and each of them give me this random black screen flash on my dsm-330, firmware is up to date and working fine as the flashing black screen does not happen on any of the load up screens, only on the home page and video selction pages and when playing content, can someone confirm this is the driver?

Who is responsible for this type of support? i have tried to stay faithful to mt d-link dsm-330 but this issue keeps happening.

Try This

Windows 7 gave me a lot of trouble with my ATI video card and the proposed windows drivers. Bottom line, replace these drivers with ATI ones.

If you have done this and still doesn't work, try the following Catalyst (& driver) version:

Ver. 8.582.0.0000

If its driver related,

If its driver related, contact ATi. DivX doesn't support the dsm-330 anymore because they wanted a different solution (DivX TV). D-Link is the hardware manufacturer so try them as well.

Other than that, you can always try using the XP-Mode in Win7 since the driver stack is different.

Good luck. There's always Boxee
