In divx 8, I don't see the tray icon, which I need to access the color control easily, where's it ?

Copy the shortcut named "Codec Settings" from the DivX Plus programs group on your Start menu into the Quick Launch taskbar group. The color adjustment controls should work in real-time with the running decoder. On Windows 7 you can also right-click the icon and choose "Pin to taskbar" to make it persistent.

In both versions of Windows you can also right-click the shortcut, choose "Properties", and add a shortcut key combination that will work when the desktop is in focus.
