Is there a divx player for Nokia X6? if there is, can you upload to mediafire? if there isn't this divx player, could you try to make one? thank you.

The Nokia X6 is a Symbian S60 v5 phone. No, there is currently no version of DivX Mobile Player available for v5 phones.

The Samsung i8910 Omnia HD uses S60v5 but it comes with the player from the box.

Movies on the Nokia X6

I downloaded the Divx player for the Symbian S60 and like most other posts I see that it loads , recognises the movies but doesn't work with the touch screen, so pretty much a waste of time.
Anyway why bother wasting hours trying to play DIvx encoded or any other type of AVI files (until Nokia provide a player that works with all versions of Symbian) , when it's relatively easy to convert movies such as DVD's directly to MP4.

The Nokias , such as the X6 , will play MP4 movies quite competently both on the tiny phone screens and also via the jack plug onto a TV screen.
I use the free version of Altysoft FreeDVD Ripper , which easily converts DVD movie VOB files to MP4 files. For the X6 I set a frame size of 512x384 with the Codec of mpeg4. The resulting MP4 file plays back very nicely on the X6, which can resize the video anyway.

is the converter clear?.. do you have a link for me to download it? XD im looking for divx player because the converters i use... either has watermark or isnt fully converted. or isnt clear
