account creation

Hi jakob3,

The first thing I would check is that your Internet connection is allowing the DivX Player to connect. If you have any proxies, firewalls, or antivirus software that blocks applications from connecting to the internet, try adding DivX Player as an exception to any white list that you have going.

If that still doesn't work, open your Finder and navigate to Applications > Utilities and open Console.app. Check for any errors about DivX Networks or the DivX Player. If there are any errors, paste it here so we can take a look please.
