Smooth FF/RW in Media Center or Media Player?

I stumbled upon the Smooth FF/RW article a few hours ago and have been toying around with it since. I just want to know if the Smooth FF/RW will work in Windows 7 Media Center?

The fact that DivX's MKV playback support for 7MC did not allow you to fast forward or rewind at all was a dealbreaker for me in the past, so I haven't used it. If it were supported now that this functionality has been released, I'd more than likely give it a go.

Windows Media Center uses Microsoft decoders, so they'd have to implement the the appropriate handlers for the trickplay track that provides the Smooth FF/RW. So for now, the only way you can get to experience that is through DivX Plus Software or DivX Plus HD certified hardware (e.g. Blu-ray players, HDTV...).

We'd be happy to work with Microsoft on this, though ;-)
