Suggest a Site for DivX HiQ
Do you have a site you'd like to suggest for DivX HiQ? Likely candidates would be video sites that are already dabbling in HTML5 and serve MP4 streams, but we're looking at expanding the list of supported sites based on what you'd like to see in your DivX HiQ.
Here's the current list, but feel free to post your wish list below!
YouTube.com
Vimeo.com
DailyMotion.com
TheOnion.com
Revision3.com
Break.com
Funny or Die
MetaCafe.com
Facebook.com
Gamereactor.eu
FoxNews.com
ESPN
CNTV Xiyou
I request megavideo.com , hulu.com and gametrailers.com
This is the most popular site in China, considering that foreign sites like Youtube are off the table.
Add it to the list.
Smosh roscks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ADD!!! SMOSH.com!!!!
Can you add Smosh.com it is very funny and they have a bad web player with bad quality and u have the best web player!!! THANKS IF U ADD IT!!!
I AGREE!!!
smosh.com that website is great really funny add it!!
I AGREE
hi
i recently started watching BBC video's on http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/tv
which seems great and all, i can even download the SD version of the videos
thought it would be awesome if i could stream the videos in HD while keeping the frame rate up
which you have clearly proven that you can
i can even watch YouTube videos now without my laptop overheating (it has some cooling issue with the CPU, and the firm who made it, went broke)
HULU.com - not only has free content, but those of us who have a hulu plus membership and watch a lot of videos are contantly re-loading videos. Not to mention how many times the adobe plug in crashes. Would be amazing if the new web player would take care of these problems.
imdb.com
trailers.apple.com
veehd.com
why do you want veehd to be added when it already is a divx site?
Another vote here for megavideo.com
Also videos there are really heavy ones, my laptop (not specially crappy one) suffers there.
Its already refitted with DIVX Just Needs an Update for this beta.
colbertnation.com, thedailyshow.com, msnbc.com, bbc.co.uk
Would be nice if you made a version for Opera or Safari (for Windows) though, or if you managed to program the web player in a way that doesn't crash Internet Explorer immediately on launching a DivX Web video.
(Firefox and Chrome might protect me from third party threats, but who protects me from Google's or Mozilla's privacy invasion which is openly admited in their privacy statements).
megavideo.com
Ted.com Without out a doubt should be supported. I would love you all forever if this site was worked on. :]
I'd like support for www.crunchyroll.com and their slim version, http://m.crunchyroll.com.
Thanks!
ComedyCentral.com, TheDailyShow.com, ColbertNation.com
These really need it ... jerky, nearly unwatchable.
MEGAVIDEO!!! SO THAT NO MORE SH*TTY WATCHING LIMIT!
Two more candidates:
www.joost.com
www.iplex.pl
I'd like support for www.crunchyroll.com and www.hulu.com. Thank you.
It would be awesome if u added www.Hulu.com. They have tons of dif tv shows and movies just cant stand having to watch them using flash divx is much better
please support
http://video.fc2.com/en/
I wish I enable for nikonikodouga.
Nikonikodouga is enabled to HTML5 for iPad
I think that it can to enable.
Sorry,I can't write English very well.
Thank you to super drive browser, before I had to worry about graphics card when I put in dailymotion big screen my graphics card was noisy. Thanks to reader divix browser I have no problems with dailymotion.
I hope we will soon see the day this player on MegaVideo.
I also would like to see DivX On:
steam / steam powered
Spike www.spike.com
and
www.askjolene.com which might not be posable as how the site stores the vids.
Thanks for this the adobe player gives me all kinds of greif and looks bad too.
Would love to see support for GodTube.com. I believe it used to be called Tangle.com but theres some very uplifting stuff. Great site.
i would start a new topic, but for some reason i cant open up a new one.
when i surf to http://trailers.apple.com the divx button is already there, but for some reason it doesnt work. i have tried to play different .MOV files but none of them play in the divx hiq player. i would be very happy if this could be fixed in the next release. support for .MOV files, espacially for trailers.apple.com would be very very nice!
Blip.tv support would be nice. Thats a site a lot of online comady shows use (LoadedReadyRun, Nostalgia Critic amongst others)
Blip does use quite a few different video types though, so Id guess support would only apply to a few of them.
snagfilms.com
snag films!
I would like:
Veoh
Google Video
Yahoo Video
DailyMotion
4Shared
Tudou
Hulu
Myspace
Viikii
MegaUpload
Fancast.com
There are more sites I just can't think of them at the moment. I hope this program turns out to be as good as it sounds (still waiting for the DivX Player to actually be any good! . . . And I'm one of hundreds).
Oops, forgot to mention that you should add to the list these great movie websites.
http://www.imdb.com, http://movies.yahoo.com/, and http://www.rottentomatoes.com/
this website made for videogames' videos and I like to see it with your great app
I would also like to recommend http://gametrailers.com... while you're at it, how about Cinemassacre, Spike, and Screw Attack?
http://cinemassacre.com/
http://screwattack.com
http://www.spike.com
Most of the videos on cinemassacre lead to the other sites, but some are actually on cinemassacre.
James Rolfe is awesome, please do these websites so we can watch all of his videos in the DivX web player!
Steam is nice and all but the video's can be kind of choppy, i rarely use it but since this is for those videos we can't play normally, i suggest steam
or the actual site it is showing steampowered.com in stead
megavideo is a great video site that you should not miss in your list
justin.tv
Would be great if http://freecaster.tv could be supported.
Megavideo and Hulu, I don't use Hulu anymore these days, but I use Megavideo a lot. Having it on Megavideo would be really cool, so please do that website!
YouJizz.com
Will there be a version for Ubuntu and Android?
Thx.
TRY fierfox or chrome IE8 sucks
HTML5 support for IE8 not working
IE8 don't have HTML5 support, at least not for video or sound.
Some apps add support for it but using an plugin.

Another vote for Hulu and Crunchyroll.
