DivX TV Feature Requests

What additional content would you like to see on DivX TV? We're working hard to expand the content, but any other sites you have in mind?

I would be very interested in having you add the twit network to your online content. I recently purchased a divx tv enabled blu-ray player and enjoy the online content, particularly hak5. Twit would be a much welcomed addition.

I would like to be able to make video calls. If additional hardware is needed that is okay but not so expensive. Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn apps. Is Google apps possible, maybe Gmail, Voice and Calendar. I am not asking to much am I?

LG products doesn't have an app for facebook. So, if you bring that to DIVX TV it would ROCK!! On a bigger scale bring a full-scale Web browser that is HTML5, flash, silverlight compatible.

Maybe they should escalate keyboard support (their own keyboard or possibly a 3rd party) as a new product requirement for existing (BD5XX) and future LG players supporting Divx TV?

A keyboard would be nice for text entry. I will add this to a list of feedback of options for our team to consider for future development. I would also suggest that you contact LG and request it form their end as well. The more requests they hear the more likely they are to consider options for their devices.

Since they finance themselves with in show advertising, you should be able to pick them up and show them right away without any negotiation or even asking.

They are already on boxes like the Roku, Tivo, and western digitals WDTV Live - you wouldn't want to be left behind, now would you? ;)

I am just checking to see if there have been any developments in adding Twit.tv content to the DivX TV.
By the way I just bought a LG Blueray player and did the update and I was very excited to see the DivX TV as one of the added features!

TWIT is a favorite amongst some of us here at DivX and we would love to have it added to DivX TV. I will pass this request onto the rest of the DivX TV team and lets see what they can do.

We are currently working on adding new channels to DivX TV and hope to push them out regularly as they become available. The great thing about DivX TV is we can add channels as we go without the need for any firmware updated to your players.
