I am import my video of my Camera DV and after I want converter it with divx converter and the message ERROR 140 came.

I met the same error and the problem was solved by deleting the special characters.

Look for special characters in the file name, in my case was the "&". I change that and voila, it works. Sorry for my english, I'm from Brazil...hopefully I've helped.
