Xbox 360 plays mkv files with sound but no video
Hello, I'm trying to stream mkvs to windows media center on my 360, but I just get a black screen with sound every time I try. I have Windows 7 64-bit with the DivX Plus Codec Pack installed. I also installed AC3Filter 1.63b Lite. This is a clean installation of Windows - the DivX pack and the AC3Filter are the only codecs that have ever been installed. The videos play fine in Windows Media Player on my PC. What could be causing this behavior?

I recently bought an xbox 360
I recently bought an xbox 360 to use as an extender and I can't get the mkv files to play. I solved this issue on my main media center PC (Windows 7 64-bit) by installing the DivX+ package and it seems to work fine but when I try to stream to the extender I either get an error, or in one case the video played fine but with no sound??? Any ideas what's going on here?
anyone figure out a solution
anyone figure out a solution to this, its weird divx acts up like crazy, taking forever to get thumbs, buffering for 5 mins before starting video, playing audio with no video, or frozen video, all on my xbox 360 slim, my old 1st gen 360 works fine but my slim, is not good, any ideas?
