Temporary Folder
Hello,
I recently deleted the Temporary Folder which was in My Videos DivX Movies which had a LOT of files in it, i think they were .ddat files but i can;t be sure.
I expected the folder would reappear but it hasn't and now i can't see ANY ddat temporary files at all. I have no idea where the videos are being buffered and stored to.
It does seem to be saving the files once they have downloaded but sometimes it doesn't work properly. When i had the Temporary Folder (not entirely sure the exact name of the folder) it was possible to use those DDAT files either by playing them with VLC or simply renaming them.
I have tried to uninstall and then reinstall DivX but the Temporary folder has still not reappeared. I don't think it uninstalled properly because when i reinstalled it the DFX Audio Enhancer were at the same settings i left them at before i uninstalled DivX.
If i can't get the Temporary Folder back then where could it possibly be storing the buffered files before it saves them to the DivX Movies folder in My Videos?

Hmm, well as much as i think the Temporary Downloaded Files folder is a problem i am not entirely sure it is the reason i am having issues with DivX Player. This was my first post here and i have posted this in the wrong forum section, never the less i am still surprised i have had NO replies at all.
I thought people got help on this forum.
What Operating System you using?
If I recall correctly there's a temporary folder. Right now I have trouble finding it on my Windows 7. But there's probably a cache here.
C:\Users\{Windows User Name}\Videos\DivX Movies
Just my guess

Can someone help me out with this one? I have reinstalled DivX 3 times now and the Temp folder has still not reappeared, i never had any problems till i deleted that folder.
Now when i reinstall DivX player it works fine for streaming until i reboot then it starts to freeze Firefox and won't play the file.
I have tried to manually create the temp folder but it doesn't work. I have no idea where it is saving the buffered file, i have searched for ddat extensions but it comes up with no results.
