DivX Mobile Player 0.87 Released

Version 0.87 of DivX Mobile player is currently available for devices using Symbian Series 60, Symbian UIQ, Windows Mobile PocketPC, Windows Mobile Smartphone, and Palm OS (Garnet). Registered users of Stage6 may now login to mobile.divx.com using the same username and password.

Expiration workarounds!
Installation:
If you are trying to install Divx Mobile Player 0.87, you may be getting a message "Expired Certificate".
Set the date in your phone back to mid-May, and Divx Mobile Player 0.87 will install just fine.
Operation:
If you are trying to watch a movie on Divx Mobile Player, starting the program may report it as expired.
The following solution worked on version 0.86: Go into "my stuff", Browse into your "Video Clips, Select the Divx file you want to view .... and it will start playing in Divx Player without an expiration error.

Kann jemand sagen warum das so ist? Diese Fehlermeldung habe ich auch. Ich habe NOKIA N 95.

Indeed, it's a pity that the product has expired - and it's a pain that we don't even know if that happened on purpose.
It neither helps if you change the date on your phone nor if you install the previous version :-(

trouble....with dvix on symbian s60
I have downloaded and installed divx player v0.87 on my nokia 6630 but it does not open. It says "the product has expired". Somebody please help.

Unwelcome screen dimming UIQ3
My screen keeps dimming when playing video's on my SE W950i. Smartmovie does not do this. How do I change this or can u change it?
I cant crate account in "stage6"
it say my javascript should be enable while my javascript is enable ... help me solve this problem
Try creating a DivX user
Try creating a DivX user account through DivX Player on your PC or Mac. Then go to Stage6 and sign on with the account you created in the player.
Unable to authenticate the credentials
NEVERMIND - FOUND MY OWN ANSWER - YOU HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD FIRST to something other than the default given by Divx. Then it works...

I've joined Stage 6 and I'm logged in here successfully (obviously since I'm posting). But when I go to the mobile.divx.com and use that same email/password, it says "unable to authenticate the credentials you provided at this time... try again"
Any suggestions on something to try differently?
Tested UIQ2 device
It is a terrible good software. I tested on M1000(UIQ2). Execution speed is slower than TCPMP(0.71j)... Please improve it!

How does one register for Stage6? Im trying to download divx 0.87 for my phone but cant get in....

Remember once you are registered to Stage6, you have to sign in to divx mobile by entering your e-mail address (not your user name) and password
go to stage6.divx.com and
go to stage6.divx.com and crate an account, by clicking on the Join link in the upper right hand corner. Once you have your account created you can come back to mobile.divx.com, sign in with the account you created and download the new player.
