The jingle plays at the last volume setting you used the last time DMP ran. So if you turn down the volume before exiting DMP then you won't hear the music when you start DMP the next time. If you are quick, you can also turn the volume down on the jingle while it's playing. Try to think of it as a fun little game rather than an annoying splash screen.
Seriously, I realize the splash can get rather tiresome. We are looking at some different branding options going forward. No promises as this time.
